Lo-Fi-Fnk is an electronic/pop duo from Sweden. Leo Drougge and August Hellsing have been writing and producing soft house and alternative pop music together since 2001. During shows, Drougge and Hellsing are joined by Link Grougge, Maja Godicke and occasionally Nottee to add instrumental dimensions to live sets. The band released its first album Boylife, in 2006 and in 2011, with a solid fan base and high expectations, Lo-Fi-Fnk released its sophomore album, Last Summer. On top of original work, Lo-Fi Fnk's miminal electronic translates well into remixes, particularly its Foster the People remix, "Pumped Up Kicks (Lo-Fi-Remix)," for which the band contributes quicker beats and vocals without deviating from the original spirit of the song.
