Pustki (the "Empties" or "Emptiness" in English) is a four-piece from Ostrówek, Poland, which neighbors Warsaw. Since the band's inception in 1999, Pustki's creativity is not just limited to their 5 recorded studio albums, but also their work composing music for a number of European theater musicals and movie soundtracks. Pustki also prides itself on the fact that music journalists cannot easily define what genre the band may or may not fit into. Moreover, the band insists that their music has hints of 1960s and 70s rebellion to their sound, and to some extent they do, and with some catchy hooks to boot.
