Street Chant is a noise pop trio from Auckland, New Zealand that has recently joined the upper echelons of New Zealand's burgeoning independent music scene. The band's allure is in its members' irreverent attitude, and the chaotically melodic music which ironically speaks volumes of their loyalty to the juggernauts of 90s grunge. Although little is known about this Auckland indie pop sensation, time will tell if Street Chant's future touring endeavors across the Pacific will result in the success many fans and critics feel the band deserves.
