Adapted from the popular 1968 children's film, this beloved story soars to new heights on stage. First produced in London's West End in 2002, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tells the story of eccentric inventor Caractacus Potts and his children. When wealthy Truly Scrumptious takes an interest in the family, Caractacus attempts to sell his new toy to her father in order to buy an old race car for the children. The fixed up racecar becomes Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a vehicle that takes them into an imaginary world as Caractacus weaves fantastical stories about the magical other world.
