Young Empires

Toronto trio Young Empires formed in 2009 and over the next year, without an album or EP to its name, became Canada's new buzz band. An expert at marrying together different breeds of indie rock, the band incorporates the glossy synth-lines of electropop, the instrumental cascades of chamber pop and the characteristic vocals and guitarwork of the post punk revival movement.
