Dead Stars

Dead Stars is a psychedelic rock trio with an affinity for noise rock and 90s grunge. The Brooklyn-based band creates hazy songs full of pounding drums, guitar feedback and fuzzy distortion. The group's music is not all dissonance, however. Discernible pop melodies beneath the chaotic surface are featured prominently, garnering comparisons to groups like Dead Meadow and Dinosaur Jr. Deli Magazine named Dead Stars one of its up-and-coming New York bands in 2010.
