Banned From Utopia is a band that commemorates the life and music of Frank Zappa. More than just a cover band, the members of Banned From Utopia all spent time performing with Zappa when he was playing live or recording. Initially formed in 1994 for a series of concerts to commemorate Zappa's life and music, Banned From Utopia has since returned to performing in honor of the talented musician who no longer roams this mortal coil.
