The Florida A&M Rattlers represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida. An NCAA Division I school, the university competes in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Florida A&M's men's basketball program has enjoyed fleeting success on the national stage by making the NCAA March Madness Tournament on a handful of occasions, including its first entry in 1999. Other men's and women's sports supported by the university include football, tennis, volleyball, swimming, baseball and softball.
