Fortune Feimster, born Emily Fortune Feimster, is an American actress, comedian and writer hailing from Charlotte, NC. Upon completing her graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue comedy and got into entertainment journalism after meeting a reporter for the Los Angeles Daily News. In 2005, she began studying improv and sketch comedy at The Groundlings Theatre, LA and was selected to be a part of the theater's Sunday Company four years later. The year 2010 marked her television debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has since starred in shows such as 2 Broke Girls, Glee, The Mindy Project, RuPaul's Drag Race and The L Word: Generation Q to name a few. She also hosts her own podcast Sincerely Fortune.
