The summer program surprises on 21 June with a scent and taste performance by Lucerne artist Claudia Vogel. Leftovers from the monastery kitchen and medicinal herbs from the monastery garden are distilled into hydrolates. 12 aromas can then be tasted. Afterwards, anyone who wants to can enjoy a tavolata among the fruit trees with herbal surprises.Summer will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17! There is a rich program from 10.00 am: medicinal herb workshop with outdoor laboratory, seed studio, tour of the exhibition with the curators, tea weaving with Loom and an artistic walk through our medicinal herb garden as well as a fine herb and flower menu from the monastery garden with pop jazz by Slick Notes on the garden stage in the evening.Reservations recommended or required: it's all small but extra special.Exhibition:Enter through the monastery gate and discover contemporary art and design in the cloister with archives from monastic libraries and much more. Design, music, poetry, performance, cuisine, theology and natural history combined in the exhibition project "Holy Wow! Rediscovering the monastery garden". A few steps up on the first floor, you can discover the "Literarium" guest room staged as a "studiolo".From the cloister, visitors can go directly into the delicately blooming monastery garden with over ten stations that tell of the biological diversity of its flora, fungi and fauna.
