Jonathan McCollum is a rapper who emerged out of Gwinnett County, GA under the name Rittz in 1992. After over a decade of industry disappointments, just when he was ready to give up his hip-hop dreams, he caught the attention of fellow rapper Yelawolf, who also hails from a small, under-represented town. The Gadsden, AL-based rapper featured Rittz on his track "Box Chevy," which appeared on the 2010 album Trunk Muzik 0-60. The two artists toured the US together in 2012, and in 2013, Rittz dropped his debut album, The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant, on Strange Music.
