Small Faces was one of the more popular bands to have existed in England in the mid-1960s. The group's characteristic style of British blues-rock resonated well with many young folks who were constantly looking for something new and interesting to listen to. By 1969, though, the members of Small Faces had had enough and decided to dissolve the band. Having released material that has been regarded by many as "classic," the Small Faces have left fans of their music with few ways to see the band's music performed in a live setting. One opportunity lies with the tribute band Small Fakers--a dutiful replica of Small Faces that creates a contemporary, yet historically accurate, style of music that was originally created by the English quartet in the 1960s.
