In Norse mythology, Ullr is the God of snow and winter who each year gives Breckenridge some of the best snow around. To honor this gift, the town holds a giant annual party in Ullr's (pronounced Ooh-ler) name. There's a parade, bonfire, Ullympics, snow sculpting, and all the alcohol you could ever want. Starting in 1963, this festival has grown to include several other traditions that have constantly been adapting each year. This is definitely the place if you're looking to let loose and join in some winter fun!
