Ruts D.C., also known as simply The Ruts, is a reggae punk band that was initially formed in London in 1977. After rising to recognition for the 1979 hit "Babylon's Burning," the group went on to earn a fair amount of attention on UK airwaves but split up in 1983. Run D.C. reformed in 2007, and with founders Dave Ruffy and John "Segs" Jennings at the helm, the band released its long-awaited album Rhythm Collision Vol.2, in 2013.
