Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and the rest of the cream of the crop of classic rock guitar heroes, Pat Travers has done a fine job in earning himself a formidable reputation amongst fans of the instrument. Travers was born in Toronto in 1954, where he'd later pay his dues touring around Ontario as a struggling musician. His love for hard rock genres eventually prompted him to move to London. The move proved fruitful quickly, as Travers signed a recording deal with Polydor in 1976. Alongside his band, known as The Pat Travers Band collectively, he's solidified himself as a guitar legend in the fields of hard rock, heavy metal and blues rock.
