Whether he's working as Doc Murdock, Doc Mabuse, Slick Spingo, Prince Porn One or his current moniker, Prinz Pi, Friedrich Kautz has remained an important part of the German hip-hop scene since the late-1990s. The Berlin native began his rap career while in his teens, crafting a style that mixed catchy beats, street savvy swagger and lyrical tales of conspiracy theories and societal analysis. Known to go through bouts of prolific recording, Kautz released four new albums in 2005 alone. He continues to develop his following in and around Germany, working his way up through the ranks of the underground circuits.
