This decades-old festival is one of the world's largest music events. It offers a large and varied selection of music each year. Past headliners include such famous acts as Garbage, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, and Kanye West. The festival grounds are on the outskirts of Roskilde, half an hour away from Copenhagen. The event is supported by hundreds of volunteers.
