Iliza Shlesinger is a stand-up comedian from Dallas, Texas who rose to recognition as a participant on the sixth season of NBC's Last Comic Standing. Though she had been honing her sharp, deprecating brand of humor since the mid-2000s, she earned national attention after winning the title of Last Comic Standing in 2008. Shlesinger went on to appear in the Last Comic Standing Tour and landed her own hosting gig in 2011 on the reality dating show, Excused.
