Hailing from Hamburg, Germany Steffen Henssler is a chef, author and television personality. After learning the art of sushi making in Los Angeles, he returned to Germany to open the restaurant Henssler & Henssler with his father in 2001. By 2009, Henssler had opened his second restaurant, Ono by Steffen Henssler, and published his first cookbook, 2006's Henssler's Küche. He began his tour in 2011 titled Meerjungfrauen kocht man nicht!, on which he cooked in front of a live audience in over a dozen cities.
