Nell Bryden is a singer/songwriter from New York City who has distinguished herself as a forward-thinking musician by blending a number of varied styles including pop, R&B and alt-rock to create a unique and extremely listenable sound. Raised in a musical household, Bryden trained classically as a cellist and dreamed of becoming a player in an orchestra before hearing and falling in love with the rockist sounds of Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. Bryden released her well-received debut album, Day For Night, in 2003 and since then she has managed to stay fairly busy with a consistent LP release schedule as well as an ardent touring regime.
