Glasvegas (pronounced: Glaz-Vegas) is a popular alternative rock band from Glasgow - hence the band name. Since dropping its eponymous debut LP in 2008 the Scottish four-piece has become one of the more predominant acts in the U.K. despite not really being widely accepted by music listeners in the U.S. With numerous awards to its name, including NME awards, and UK Music Video Awards, Glasvegas continues to make a name for itself.
