The Baseballs is a rock and roll outfit that emerged out of Berlin in 2007. The group earned immediate attention for its rockabilly covers of modern pop songs, such as Rihanna's "Umbrella" and Beyonce's "Crazy in Love," collecting a national following before releasing any material. The Baseballs dropped its debut album, Strike!, in 2009, to world-wide commercial success. The band continues to release new material of both covers and originals on records like 2011's Strings 'n' Stripes, and 2012's Good Ol' Christmas.
