El Pasoans near and far flock downtown to witness the spectacle of this Thanksgiving morning parade. Families line the sidewalks to show off their civic pride in an event that draws over 250,000 spectators eager to witness the floats, marching bands, ethnic dancers, clowns and other colorful sights. The parade runs down Montana Avenue from Ochoa to Copia and has been taking place since the 1930s.
