Patrick Lindner is the stage name of Friedrich Günther Raab, a German schlager singer, actor and television host, who lives in Munich. Lindner was actually a cook before he became a singer, and he participated in many cooking shows where he sang while cooking. The artist had his first appearance 1989 at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Die kloane Tür zum Paradies." Since then Patrick Lindner earned a large fan base in all German-speaking countries. Over the years he changed his traditional schlager musical style to a more modern pop style. In 2005 he released the album Gigolo in cooperation with the Thilo Wolf Big Band, this album included songs not only in German, but also English. In 2014 Lindner released his 25 year anniversary album, Das Beste aus 25 Jahren.
