Martin Helmchen is a German classical pianist who studied at the Hanns Eisler Music Conservatory under Galina Iwanzowa and at Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover under Arie Vardi. Going on to win the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in 2001 and the International Kissinger Klavierolymp Competition in 2003, Helmchen has since gone on to perform with the the San Francisco Symphony, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Deutschen Symphonie-Orchester Berlin
