Each year, Gatlinburg lays claim to the honor of hosting the nation's first Independence Day parade as colorful floats, boisterous marching bands and prancing horses make their way through the town at midnight. As soon as the road blocks go up late on July 3rd the festivities commence, making for a truly unique patriotic experience.
