This wild and just-for-fun race is a celebration of Geneva’s victory over the hated duc Charles-Emmanuel de Savoie, who attempted to conquer the city in 1602. There are dozens of categories for men, women and children; some are for serious runners, but most are for the majority of the 19,000 participants who dress up in period costume and couldn’t care less where they place. An exciting experience, which one can't afford to miss. All races are centered around the St-Pierre Cathedral and finish in the Parc des Bastions.
