In the early 2000s, the central London nightclub Trash was a hot spot for up-and-coming electronic and electroclash artists. Many DJs and producers that would later become extremely well respected, got their start in this club. The resident DJ (from 1997-2007) and founder of Trash, Erol Alkan, helped propel this impressive electronic movement by adding a soundtrack for the scene. His unique brand of modern electro house is driving, yet not as hard hitting as some of his peers music is.
