Amped Virtual Reality is offering STEM summer camps focused on educational play where kids have fun while learning and building confidence. The kids will make friends and have a BLAST in a safe, clean environment. This program is for ages 8-13 regardless of experience in the STEM areas: coding, robotics, and even 3D printing! Kids are grouped by age and skill level. Kids will even learn about electronics WHILE INSIDE MINECRAFT using VR technology! We strive to offer opportunities to work together in groups and allow campers to be creative, experiment, build knowledge and grow. Much of what we do is hand-on, developing crucial fine motor skills. We also give kids the freedom to select some of what they want to learn. Virtual Reality education is immersive and much more memorable than other learning methods. Sessions run Monday through Friday. Afternoon sessions are 1pm to 4pm which includes 1 1/2 hours of STEM activities and 1 1/2 hours of VR time. Morning Sessions (If offered) will run 9am to 12pm. A snack will be provided.
