Like most Austrian towns, Graz has a New Year's Eve program featuring music, tasting of gastronomic specialties and midnight fireworks that can be seen all over the city. The best place to enjoy them is the Schlossberg (Castle Hill), really close to the display, as well as the Main Square (which has a Christmas tree with 25,000 lights) or the Erzherzog-Johann-Bridge.
