Jimmie Allen creates music that can be best described as an amalgamation of R&B and country, a style that has been well-showcased in his eponymous debut EP. Prior to pursuing a career as a singer, Allen worked as a songwriter in Nashville. After signing a record deal with Broken Bow Records' Stoney Creek imprint in 2017, he released the track "Blue Jean Baby," which gained a spot on Spotify's 'United States Viral 50 chart.' His first official single, 2018's "Best Shot," became the second most-added song to radio playlists, and made it to the Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay and Billboard Hot 100 charts. Later that year, he dropped his debut album Mercury Lane to positive reviews. His most popular tunes include "Best Shot," "Make Me Want To," "This is Us," "Underdogs," "Back of Your Mind" and more.
