Epik High(에픽하이) is a South Korean hip-hop group formed in 2003 that was at the center of the controversy in the late 2000s. One of group members, Tablo(타블로), was well-known for completing a bachelor's and master's degree at Stanford University in only 3 and half years. He was suspected of educational forgery and was forced to go through legal battles with Tajinyo(We want Tablo to tell the truth, 타진요) which is a group of people demanding the truth from Tablo. His degrees from Stanford eventually were proven to be legitimate, but only after the group's reputation had been damaged badly. However, the release of Epik High's 7th album 99 in 2012 demonstrated that the public still loves its music. Songs such as "One," 1minute 1second" and "Umbrella" are still one of the most favorite songs among young people in South Korea.
