The Freddy Jones Band is an American roots-rock band formed in Chicago in 1990 by high school classmates Wayne Healy, Marty Lloyd and Jim Bonaccorsi. By 1991, the band had grown into a five-piece band with the addition of Rob Bonaccorsi and Simon Horrocks. Mark Murphy was roped in as the band's bassist following the Rob and Jim Bonaccorsi's exit in 1998. The group split the following year and Lloyd toured in 2000 as the Freddy Jones Band with members of the group Sonia Dada. Some of the band's works include Waiting for the Night, Lucid, High Spirits and Never Change among others.
