Madness is one of the most popular British ska/new wave bands of the 1980s. The band was founded by Mike Barson, Chris Foreman and Lee Thompson under the name, The Invaders. After two years of playing together, they changed the band's name to Madness, in honor of a famous song by Jamaican ska icon, Prince Buster. The band split for six years during the 1980s and early 1990s, but is currently still recording songs and entertaining its crowd with classics like "Our House" from the worldwide-success album, The Rise and Fall.
