One of the bands to emerge from the Britpop explosion at the beginning of the '90s, Ocean Colour Scene has managed to stay relevant and change its sound as the music scene continues to evolve. While its eponymous debut album turned heads, it was Moseley Shoals that propelled it into stardom. The album peaked at the number two position of the UK Albums Chart, paving the way for an illustrious career. Its next release - Marchin' Already, one-upped the success of the previous album and found itself ranked one on the UK Albums Chart. Though the group has lost some of its popularity, Ocean Colour Scene still releases original studio work and carries on with a fairly consistent touring schedule.
