Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats is a psychedelic metal band from England that's led by front man K.R. Starrs. Also known as Uncle Acid, Starrs formed the band in 2009 and captured a fusion of doom metal and 1960s-inspired psychedelia for its 2010 debut album Volume 1. The band saw a breakthrough with its follow-up LP, Blood Lust, in 2011, and has since continued to perform and create its dark but groovy tunes.
