A champion of "wimpycore" music, Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, Buddy, produces acoustic pop-rock ballads. While it's likely that the musician dubbed his genre of choice wimpycore with the intention to be humorous, the genre title does fit his brand of mellow compositions. After relocating from Portland to LA in 2004, Buddy began releasing music and performing with a six-piece backing band that somehow doesn't overwhelm Buddy's soft vocals and light guitar strumming. After landing songs in multiple prominent television shows, the musician received enough attention to warrant a world tour and has been growing his fan-base since.
