Based on the 1938 film La Femme du Boulanger, The Baker's Wife tells the story of a baker and his beautiful and much younger wife Genevieve, who move to a small French town in the 1930s. The villagers are excited to have the new baker and his wife in town, but the plot thickens when Genevieve falls in love with a young driver named Dominique.
