Così fan tutte, also known as La scuola degli amanti, is an opera buffa in two acts written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The opera was somewhat of a scandal after its Vienna premiere in 1790 due to its risqué subject matter, and follows a series of follies and tangled love affairs after a wager is made between two men to test the fidelity of their young brides-to-be. A collaboration between Mozart and his librettist, Lorenzo Da Ponte, the opera includes some of Mozart's most beloved arias and ensemble pieces.
