The English duo Go West is a pop band fronted by dual vocalists Peter Cox and Richard Drummie. Cox, who also plays the drums, met guitarist Drummie in 1974 and formed a close friendship and partnership through music. While working as songwriters, Cox and Drummie recorded two of their own songs, "We Close Our Eyes" and "Call Me." Within days, Chrysalis Records offered the duo a record deal and released its 1985 album Go West, exposing the duo's power pop sound to the world. Go West earned a Top 10 US hit in 1990 with its track "King of Wishful Thinking," which was featured in the movie Pretty Woman. Despite continued national and international success, Cox took a break from Go West to pursue a solo career in 1997, going on to release several solo albums. Drummie and Cox did not release any music together until 2010, when Go West released the first installment of its three-part album of EPs,
