Yiruma is a Korean British pianist. His real name is Ruma Lee which is a meaning of 'achieve' in Korean. He debuted as a piano soloist on the stage of Croydon Young Musician Festival in 1992. After the graduation from King's College London, he released first album <i>Love Scene</i> in 2001. As soon as he debuted in Korea, he gain a great recognition as a promising New Age pianist. Although he did not have to get charged of military service in Korea because he was technically British, he served in Korean Navy for 2 years in order to gain Korean nationality. He released more than 10 singles and 7 albums which include his great hits such as "Kiss the Rain," "River Flows in You," "Love Me," "May Be," "Indigo," "Reminiscent" and so on.
