Wizz Jones, a native of Surrey, England, started his professional singer/songwriter career during the English folk revival of the late 1960s, playing with the likes of Bert Jansch from Pentangle and Richard Thompson from The Fairport Convention. Wizz is considered a one-man folk troubadour, touting his acoustic guitar, harmonica and saccharine voice to fill the room with sound. Initially writing tunes with more of a mystical feeling like "Magical Flight," as he has matured Jones has focused more on American style finger-picked acoustic blues, as heard on songs like "Freudian Slip."
