Paul Rodriguez is a stand-up comedian and actor from Mexico who initially considered becoming a lawyer before choosing to pursue a career in comedy. He landed his first role in the 1983 film D.C. Cab, and released his debut comedy album You're In American now, Speak Spanish. After spending the better portion of the 1980s playing minor film roles, he starred in and directed the 1994 movie A Million to Juan, and made an appearance in the 2002 comedy The Original Latin King of Comedy, which he also worked on as a producer. In addition to his acting roles and stand-up routines, Rodriguez has provided voice overs for projects including King of the Hill and Dora the Explorer.
