Killer Queen is a band that is renown for its authentic tribute concerts featuring the music of Queen, complete with similar aesthetics, stage design and larger-than-life persona. When they first began playing shows at London University in 1993, few would have guessed the roaring success Killer Queen would enjoy in the years to come. Starting out on the same stage as the legendary Queen, this tribute band has since played at numerous venues across the world, selling out some of the same arenas where the original lineup of Queen once made thousands dance, sing and stomp their feet in unison. In 1995 their popularity gained them a residency at London's Strand Theatre, going down in history as the West End's very first tribute act. On the back of a tour across Russia and Europe, Killer Queen was even named “Worldwide Best Tribute Band” at an award show hosted by Suggs in 1999, while their production, "Queen Spectacular," won Vasteras' "Best Concert of the Year" award a decade later. Led by Patrick Myers and his remarkable recreation of Freddy Mercury's voice, mannerisms and charisma, Killer Queen has gone from strength to strength, their appeal as timeless as the music they bring to life.
