Ben l’oncle soul is a French singer from Tours who studied Fine Arts, but came to be known musically from his cover of The White Stripe’s “Seven Nation Army”. He was subsequently signed by Motown France and came out with his first single, Soul Wash in 2009. His plans are to stay in the francophone realms as much as he can, stating that soul musicians of this genre were missing while he was growing up.
