Even though the idea to form a ska band was planted in the minds of by a group of friends while they were still in high school, London-based outfit The Skints didn't officially settle on a lineup and start releasing music until 2007. Recieving attention from BBC Radio 1 DJs early in the band's career, The Skints managed to find a rather sizable fan base from the get go. With dub-influenced bass lines, female vocals and mod-revival fashion sensibilities, the band has done a respectable job launching itself into the public's consciousness and with more time under its belt, the group's success will undoubteldy only continue to grow.
