Flatland Cavalry is a band from Lubbock, Texas that was formed in 2012 by Cleto Cordero and Jason Albers, alongside Jonathan Saenz, Reid Dillon and Laura Jane. Its music is a blend of country, rock and folk. Flatland Cavalry went on to tour the vast Texas concert circuit before releasing its debut EP, Come May, in 2015 and its first full-length album, Humble Folks, in 2016. In 2018, Laura Jane left the band and was replaced by Wesley Hall. Flatland Cavalry's lauded sophomore album, Homeland Insecurity, was released in 2019, bringing their distinctly contemporary take on Americana to an ever-growing audience. The band tours extensively and has been recognized for its energetic stage persona.
