The Mysterines is a garage rock band based in Liverpool. Even before releasing its first single, The Mysterines were known for bringing in huge crowds at low-key venues in the Merseyside music circuit. Much of the credit goes to the sheer amount of energy packed in the voice of Lia Metcalfe. It debuted with "Hormone" in 2018, the song strives on raw electrical guitar riffs and Metcalfe's vocals which are treated with just the right amount of auto-tuning, to achieve a grungy and mesmerizing coat. The following year, it released "Bet Your Pretty Face." This track juxtapositions slow paced vocals with swift guitar sounds for the most part and goes all out when comes the bridge arrives, ensuring headbanging action from its listeners.
