Puerto Rican garage rock outfit Davila 666 was formed in 2005 by five teenagers with a penchant for the lo-fi rock 'n' roll of the late 1960s. Within two months of the band's inception, it produced a 9 song debut album sung entirely in Spanish and recorded in a makeshift home studio that garnered the band a cult following both in its home country and in the US. With a riotous attitude, a solid group of often belligerently drunk fans and a tendency to incorporate stage antics, including the drummer utilizing snakes (potentially rubber ones) rather than drumsticks, Davila 666 has a reputation for a wild performance.
