Chuck Negron is a singer/songwriter from New York who is probably best known as one of the three lead vocalists of the popular band Three Dog Night. Born in Manhattan, to a Puerto Rican father and an English mother, Negron grew up in a strong musical environment and ended up singing in local doo-wop groups as a kid. After moving to Los Angeles, Negron would go on to form Three Dog Night in 1968 with Danny Hutton and Cory Wells--eventually going on to become one of the most popular bands of the 1970s. After the group's disbanded in 1976, Negron spiraled into the seedy world of heroin and cocaine addiction. But after cleaning up his act in the early 1990s, Negron launched his solo career with his debut 1995 LP, Am I Still In Your Heart.
